IAWA World Records Clarification Proviso
Lifters are reminded that for some IAWA lifts to be accepted as a record, where none are yet set, the records registrar will check that the amount lifted exceeds that lifted in another lift.

Example: The amount lifted in the 2 H’s Dumbells Anyhow lift, must exceed the amount already accepted as a record for the 2 H’s Dumbells Clean and Jerk,
(Reason: the lifter should be able to achieve a greater poundage in the Anyhow lift)

Lifts to be aware of:

2Hs Dumbbells Anyhow must exceed 2Hs Dumbbells C&Jerk
PO & Push on back must exceed PO & Press on back
Cont Clean must exceed Cont C&Jerk
Continental to Belt must exceed Cont.Clean
Cont C&Jerk must exceed 2H C&J Behind Neck
2Hs Jerk Behind Neck  from Racks, must exceed 2H C&J Behind Neck
The Push Press must exceed the 2Hs Press
Jerk from Racks from the Front must exceed 2Hs C&Jerk
Press from Racks Behind Neck  must exceed 2Hs Press Behind Neck
Ciavattonne Deadlift must exceed Thumbless Deadlift
Standard Deadlift must exceed Ciavattonne Deadlift
2" bar Deadlift must exceed Fulton Deadlift
Standard Deadlift must exceed 2" bar Deadlift
Continental Snatch must exceed 2Hs Snatch
Push Press from Racks must exceed 2Hs Push Press
